What types of prizes are there? What must I do to collect prizes? Loterías y Apuestas del Estado gives two types of cash prizes: · Smaller Prizes: those whose amount per unit bet is less than 5,000 euros. These prizes can be of two types: · Not subject to tax retention: 2,500 euros or less. In this case, the system will automatically try to deposit them in your Lotobolsa; if your Lotobolsa exceeds the allowed maximum balance (set at 200 euros for all participants) or if the amount exceeds the maximum that you indicated in your Options, the system will automatically try to transfer the prize to the bank account in your user profile. If you do not have a bank account, this operation will not be possible, and the prize will be deposited in your Lotobolsa, where you can download it to a bank account if you wish. To avoid this type of situations and to allow the system to transfer your prizes automatically, we recommend that your profile always includes a valid and updated bank account. · Subject to tax retention: more than 2,500 euros. In this case you should ask to collect your prize by accessing your user account. The system you will inform automatically of the net amount of the prize, as well as the deduction of 20% to which it is subject. · Larger prizes: those for an amount of 5,000 euros or more. You should access your user account to request collection of your prize. The system will automatically inform you of the net amount of the prize, as well as the deduction of 20% if it was subject to tax retention. We repeat that never, no matter how important the prize, the notification ask you for any payment or advance on your part, nor personal details or your account access codes. It will be you who accesses your user account according to the usual authentication process. On the other hand, however obvious it may seem, Loterías y Apuestas del Estado will never give a prize corresponding to one of its prize draws without the previous acquisition on your part of a share in it. Always distrust a notification of a prize in a draw in which you do not think you have participated, as this practice is a frequent confidence trick.
