Every La Primitiva bet consists of the selection of 6 numbers from a table of 49 (numbers from 1 to 49). - How much does it cost to play?
Each bet costs 1 Euro. - How do I choose my combination?
To play La Primitiva, please select the 6 numbers of each bet manually (whereby you select the six numbers of each bet yourself) or randomly (whereby the system selects the numbers for you at random). - Can I include more than one bet to increase my chances?
Yes. There are two playing methods to choose from:
- Single: you can play a minimum of 1 bet and a maximum of 8 on one same ticket, with 6 numbers for each bet. To play a bet, mark six numbers in the first block. To play two, mark six numbers in the first block and six in the second, and so forth. Every single bet costs one Euro.
- Multiple: if you like, you can play more than 6 numbers for your bet; to do so, please mark these in the first block of your ticket only. Take into account that the higher the number of multiple selections, the more your bet will cost. You will be able to play the following multiples:
- If you tick the 44 bet box, you will have to select 5 numbers in the first block. The set made up of those five numbers chosen combines with each one of the remaining numbers in the block, which gives rise to 44 sets of six predictions, that is, 44 bets
- If you tick the 7 bet box, you will have to select 7 numbers in the first block
- If you tick the 28 bet box, you will have to select 8 numbers in the first block
- If you tick the 84 bet box, you will have to select 9 numbers in the first block
- If you tick the 210 bet box, you will have to select 10 numbers in the first block
- If you tick the 462 bet box, you will have to select 11 numbers in the first block
Every multiple determines the number of bets to be paid for.
- Which draws am I participating in?
You can choose from two options to play:
- Daily draw: if you only want to participate in one draw, the Thursday one or the Saturday one. If you validate your ticket between Sunday and Thursday, you will participate in the Thursday draw; if you validate it between Friday and Saturday, you will participate in the Saturday draw.
- Weekly draw: if you wish to participate in both prize draws, the Thursday one and the Saturday one. Please remember that you will be playing with the same predictions and bets in both draws. You can select this method to validate your bets between Sunday and Thursday.
- What are the prizes?
For La Primitiva, 55% of the funds collected go towards prizes, distributed across the following categories:
- Special Category: if you guess correctly the 6 numbers of the winning combination plus Refund.
- 1st Category: if you hit all 6 numbers of the winning combination.
- 2nd Category: if you hit 5 numbers of the winning combination, plus the extraction that matches the complementary number.
- 3rd Category: if you hit 5 numbers of the winning combination.
- 4th Category: if you hit 4 numbers from the winning combination.
- 5th Category: if you hit 3 numbers from the winning combination.
- Refund: if the number assigned to this prize matches the one on your ticket.
*What is the complementary number?
The complementary number is an extra number which is extracted during the draw to give players a chance to increase the prize paid out to those who have hit five of the six numbers of the winning combination. You do not choose a complementary number: this is an extra number which is extracted during the draw and has to match one of the numbers of your combination, assuming that this combination also includes 5 out of the 6 numbers of the winning combination. The complementary number thus only applies to the 2nd prize category.
