Self-exclusion

If you participate in our games through this website and feel unable to control yourself or maintain balance, Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (SELAE) offers you a temporary self-exclusion service (cooling-off periods) through your player account, as a way to prevent gambling-related problems.

Self-exclusion is a process by which you can block your gaming account for a selected period among predefined options, thus avoiding any online participation in our games.

This option is available once you have logged into our platform, from your profile under the "ACCESS DATA" section.

Users can self-exclude for different time periods of 1, 3, or 6 months, or choose a custom duration.

During the temporary self-exclusion period, the user account cannot be unlocked by the player (although you may request it through the Customer Support Center if the period exceeds 6 months and that time has elapsed). Additionally, you will not be able to:

In the case of temporary self-exclusion, once the set period ends, your user account will be automatically reactivated, allowing you to operate normally from that moment on.

In the case of permanent self-exclusion, SELAE allows you to request readmission.

These are measures established by SELAE to help people with disordered gambling behavior block access to the online gaming channel.

Self-prohibition

The General Register of Gambling Access Bans (RGIAJ) is a public register, created under Law 13/2011 on Gambling Regulation, which includes individuals who have exercised their right to request prohibition from participating in gambling activities. This register also lists individuals who are prohibited from gambling by court order or who are legally incapacitated for such activity.

If you wish to register, modify your data, or unsubscribe from the RGIAJ, you can do so by contacting the Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling through the link at the end of this page.

If you feel unable to control yourself, or for any other reason wish to limit your participation in gambling, you may choose to prohibit your access to gambling by voluntarily registering in the General Register of Gambling Access Bans (RGIAJ).

Once registered, you will not be able to play on SELAE or any other gambling site. Six months after your registration, you may request to be removed from the register.
