Identity Verification Policy

In compliance with Law 13/2011, of May 27, on gambling, and the regulations that implement it, Sociedad Estatal de Loterías del Estado applies a strict identity verification policy for participants in its games through loteriasyapuestas.es. All participants must provide us with personal information (name and surname, NIF/NIE and date of birth) that is true and relates to an adult. The participant's identity and the fact they are above legal age will be checked online through a secure connection with the regulatory body responsible for gambling. For these purposes, the data in your User Register must exactly match those contained on your National Identity Document, or on your Foreign Nationals' Identity Card, as follows:

• NAME, FIRST SURNAME, SECOND SURNAME, NIF/NIE and DATE OF BIRTH must match exactly the information that appears on your DNI or Foreign Nationals' Identity Card
• It doesn't matter if you use upper or lower case letters, the system doesn't distinguish between them
• If, in your profile, you entered a NIF/NIE that does not correspond to you, now is the time to enter a correct one. Remember, do not include hyphens or spaces
• If you have a second surname on your identity document, you must include it as part of your profile. If not, you must leave it blank
• If you have a compound name or surname, simply use only the spaces required and include the hyphens that correspond to your identity document
• Abbreviations such as 'Mª José', 'J.Ramón', 'Fco. Javier', etc., can only be used if they appear in your identity document, otherwise they will cause errors

In addition, the current regulations require us to verify the personal data you have provided us through documentary evidence should you wish to download or collect a prize in your bank account or pay into the platform an amount that exceeds €150, cumulative total for all your payments since 28/3/2019.

To do this you will have to access our Identity Document Verification Process through the Personal Data page on our Web Platform, or through our official App for iOS and Android.

You have two options to verify your documentation automatically:

1) You can start with a mobile device with a camera and allow us to take:

• Photos of both sides of your DNI/NIE.
• A video of your face

2) You can also start from your PC or any mobile device by attaching:

• Photos of both sides of your DNI/NIE.
• A good quality photograph of your face.
  
  

Our process will automatically validate that the information presented corresponds exactly to the personal data that you indicated in the registration process or this data will be updated with those on the documents. From that moment, the restrictions on collecting, downloading and the payment of prizes will be lifted.

If you registered with an NIE and you do not have an identity document with a photo, during the Automatic Identity Document Verification Process, when verifying that the document you provide is not enough to verify your identity, we will indicate how you should proceed to perform your identity verification manually.

As long as your identity and personal data cannot be confirmed, your user registration will have Unverified Identity status and the restrictions that apply will be applied as established in your Game Contract and the current regulations.
